My name is Gavin Godinez and I work as a Cinematographer in Arizona. I was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona and currently work out of Los Angeles & Arizona.
I want to use film to show my own visionary way of looking at the world. Especially as an artist who has been showcasing his craft through cinematography for a long time. Creativity through fictional work with layered messages in order to showcase fun and art at the same time. Whether it’s through Dramas or Music Videos my lens has a unique taste to it that makes my work different yet simple with an eye of enjoyment to it.
Currently I want to use my skills to show the world in many different lights and cover stories that others may not even cover. My narrative work has been colorful in image yet dark in subjects and impactful among other descriptions. My style has changed throughout to help bend to the director's vision with me putting my own touch of creativity throughout. My body of work showcases how I view the world and its many issues and how we can find new ways in the media to adapt to the many problems.
